Above: a short playlist of recent pieces that have a touch of vapour, steam, liquid or ice to them. The first track is a medley of four pieces written with the BBC's Landmark series on the continent of Asia in mind. Travelling between urban Tokyo, choral oceans, sandy deserts and finally a frozen Siberian winter, it's a small collection of music that travels. 
Below: a collection of sounds composed for a short film set in a gritty urban suburb of Berlin, dealing with the themes of past-ghosts, guilt, death and torment in far-off sandy lands.
